Avenida Escazú Opens in Costa Rica adding prime real estate to Costa Rica Commercial02/12/09The first phase of the high end project was launched in December and includes several cinemas, a food court, coffee shops, retail space, office space and the new Residence Inn Hotel. Portafolio Inmobiliario is the primary developer and once the project is completed, it will support about five hundred new jobs. The project's primary builder is Volio & Trejos, and its architects are Studio 506, Trejos Facio Architects, and Zurcher Architects. "This is an excellent example of the rapid high end growth Escazu is experiencing" said Marc Schweitzer, President of Costa Rica Commercial. "And with the projects direct access to Hospital CIMA and the new Caldera highway, it is no wonder it is a resounding Costa Rica Commercial success."
