Intel to Invest $25 Million in Costa Rican Facility and in its Costa Rica Commercial operating plants08/02/2010
Intel will purchase and install new machinery in its facilities that are designed to assembe and check the functionality of new microprocessors. By December 2010, Intel will have invested over $700 Million during its thirteen years in operating in Costa Rica. Karla Blanco, the company's Latin American Corporate Relations director, told Nacion.com: "... this year we will update the technology used to assemble 32 nanometer chips and to begin producing 22 nanometer ones".
